Billing Specialist

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
 Research and resolve deduction discrepancies within customer accounts through customer
portals and over the phone.
 Analyze and validate deductions using critical thinking skills to assess research findings.
 Contact customers and internal business partners to gather necessary documentation and
information.
 Access and navigate customer portals to pull relevant records for analysis.
 Maintain accurate records of customer communications and deduction resolutions.
 Clear resolved deductions from customer accounts and document all findings.
 Maintain Excel spreadsheets and files for tracking open deductions.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years of experience in customer deduction research and processing.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Experience with ERP systems preferred.
• Experience navigating and working within customer portals required.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal
supervision.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and internal
teams.
