Mechanical Assembler - Swing Shift

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Read and follow bill of materials, assembly instructions, product travelers, and related documentation

·         Verify prior steps on the product traveler are completed before beginning work

·         Audit and organize materials before starting the build, ensuring everything is labeled and stored properly

·         Use various hand tools including screwdrivers, wrenches, cutters, sockets, and torque drivers

·         Assemble products according to documentation and using appropriate tools

·         Use torque tool calibration and verification equipment

·         Perform masking and de-masking of circuit boards for conformal coating when needed

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

•         High school diploma or equivalent

•         Entry-level; prior mechanical assembly experience preferred

•         Ability to distinguish colors and small symbols

•         Ability to sit for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs

•         Able to work independently and maintain safety standards

•         Must maintain confidentiality of company and customer information
