SUMMARY Maintains grounds of the Association; constructs and repairs structural woodwork and equipment; works with 3rdparty contractor for water, sewage and pool treatments; installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems by performing the following duties:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED.
- Handles assigned work orders and PMs and logs maintenance work.
- Solving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on various facility equipment.
- Reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical procedures, electrical schematics, blueprints, service manuals, and work orders to perform required maintenance work.
- (Dis)assembling/installing new machines, condition monitoring sensors, equipment, etc.
- Evaluating, repairing, and maintaining plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and HVAC systems in the building
- Maintaining the fire, carbon monoxide, smoke, and other safety systems.
- Servicing, diagnosing, and repairing all fleet vehicles.
- Troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns
- Communicates existing and potential issues with supervisor.
- Cleaning and maintaining the tools you work with.
- Abiding by different safety measures and policies.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and HVAC.
- Working knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
- Knowledge of water and sewage treatment and pool maintenance a plus.
- Basic knowledge of blueprints and schematics.
- Working knowledge of related OSHA requirements.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
