Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to join our team at Sloan's Automotive, an established and customer-focused automotive repair shop. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, maintaining relationships with clients, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a track record of exceeding sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability by targeting new customers, using a consultative-based sales strategy to manage relationships with existing clients, and driving repeat business.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and fostering long-term loyalty.
- Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and train the sales team to achieve individual and collective sales goals. Monitor performance, provide coaching, and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Sales Reporting & Analysis: Track sales performance, provide regular reports on sales metrics, and analyze trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adjust sales tactics and remain competitive in the local market.
- Customer Consultation: Address customer inquiries, provide expert advice, and create tailored service packages based on their needs and vehicle conditions.
- Inventory Management: Collaborate with the management team to ensure the availability of necessary parts and products for repair services and sales.
- Promotion and Advertising: Lead in the development and execution of marketing campaigns to drive traffic and increase sales, both online and offline.
- Budget Management: Manage the sales department’s budget, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to meet goals.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the automotive or related industries.
- Strong understanding of automotive repair services and products.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a sales team.
- Results-driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency with standard computer software.
- Ability to accurately type at a relatively fast pace.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
