Slocum Dickson Medical Group has an opportunity available in a Women’s Health and High Risk Pregnancy practice for either
a NP / PA with experience in Women’s Health. The opportunity is a Monday through Friday position with no call responsibilities working in collaboration with Dr. Handal-Orefice in her office at our Business Park Drive, Utica, NY location. Requirements :
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program
- Current Physician Assistant Licensure or ability to become licensed in NYS
- Current Certification by the NCCPA
- Current provider cards in Basic Life support (BLS) (ACLS and PALS as required by department)
- Strong computer skills, including EHR
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR NURSE PRACTITIONER
RELATIONSHIP TO OTHERS : Direct relationship with patients / families, physicians and staff.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : Classification of work level : Heavy. Requires sitting, standing, bending and reaching. May require lifting up to 100 pounds using proper body mechanics. Requires manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment such as computer, fax and telephone. Requires hearing and vision that is adequate to perform job duties.
