Custodian

Responsibilities: - Perform routine cleaning tasks, such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming floors - Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies - Empty trash cans and dispose of waste properly - Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors - Maintain cleanliness in common areas, including lobbies, hallways, and break rooms - Follow established procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures - Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel - Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines Requirements: - Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning preferred - Knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing and waxing - Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and carpet cleaners - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions - Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks such as lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods of time - Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position. Pay: $12.25 - $15.25 per hour
