What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cast Tech position at SLOCUM ORTHOPEDICS, P.C.?
Slocum Orthopedics is currently recruiting for a full-time Cast Tech. This position works closely with the physicians, physician assistants and other cast techs performing essential duties associated with casting and splinting patients. This position requires an understanding of anatomy, physiology, surgical procedures and patient education. Casting, fracture management, and DME experience preferred but not required. Certified Medical Assistants, Athletic Trainers, EMTs, Medical Office clinicians, and similar levels of experience welcome to apply. On-the-job shadowing and training will be provided for this position.
