Job Title: Weekend Charge Nurse
We are seeking a qualified LVN/RN to fill the role of Weekend Charge Nurse at Mansfield Nursing & Rehabilitation. This position involves providing nursing care to residents as prescribed by physicians and supervising Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) staff in the delivery of direct resident care.
About the Role:
- Provide nursing care to residents as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with standards of nursing practices and regulations.
- Supervise CNA staff in the delivery of direct resident care.
- Work under the supervision of the Director of Nursing to ensure high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
- Conduct regular rounds to monitor resident conditions and provide timely interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Ensure accurate documentation of resident care and maintenance of records.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in good standing and currently licensed by the State.
- Ability to relate positively to residents and families, and work cooperatively with other employees.
- Capable of maintaining regular attendance.
- Ability to supervise other employees and work cooperatively to obtain resident care objectives.
- Meet all local health regulations, and successfully complete a post-offer health assessment.
- Physical and sensory requirements include walking, reaching, climbing, bending, lifting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling, ability to hear and respond to pages; ability to distinguish smells, tastes and temperatures, ability to read and write, ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with residents, families, personnel, vendors and consultants; ability to remain calm under stress.
- BLS certification.
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
