Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Full-Time - Kansas City, MO

We are seeking passionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Kansas City, MO for the 2024-2025 school year!

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations for students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure student success.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records.
  • Participate in professional development activities to stay abreast of best practices in speech-language pathology. (For SLPs)
  • Provide support to SLPs during evaluations and therapy sessions. (For SLPA)

Qualifications

  • SLPs :
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid Missouri License in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • Experience working with children in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong foundation in child development, speech and language disorders, and intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • SLPA :
  • Bachelor's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field (preferred).
  • Must meet Kansas City, Missouri requirements for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (details available upon request).
  • Experience working with children in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong foundation in child development and basic speech and language concepts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
