- The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $95,000. Final agreed upon compensation will be commensurate with individual education, professional designation, experience, internal parity, and location.

Responsibilities:
- Support the Methane team with data collection and analysis, prepare data visualizations and reports for clients
- Support clients looking to design emission measurement programs and create measurement informed inventories
- Support research to improve methods for measuring and reporting emissions
- Calculate greenhouse gas emissions using various protocols
- Support GHG life cycle assessment modeling of natural gas supply chains
- Perform regulatory applicability reviews for new and existing regulations, both domestic and international, related to greenhouse gas emissions, particularly methane emissions from the natural gas supply chain
- Prepare proposals, reports and other deliverables
- Coordinate project tasks and deliverables with partners and subcontractors, including academic institutions
- Conduct project management activities, such as tracking project progress, managing timelines, coordinating and conducting meetings, and providing team updates
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Chemical, Petroleum, or Environmental a plus) or technical science related degree program
- 0-7 years of experience in providing greenhouse gas emissions-related support to industry
- Experience with calculating air emissions estimates, particularly greenhouse gas emissions
- Experience with basic statistical analysis of emission datasets
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of software with a basic understanding of coding languages
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel by car and airplane
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and detail oriented including strong analytical, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to interface with clients and internal stakeholders
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Willing and eager to learn new skills
- Master’s degree in technical science related degree program
- Project Management experience (e.g., setting up projects and executing within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.)
- Experience:
- working with various GHG emission datasets, such as EPA’s mandatory GHGRP and EPA’s national GHGI
- or knowledge of oil and gas production, and the natural gas supply chain, including production, processing, transmission, storage, distribution and liquefaction
- with direct measurement and monitoring of GHG emissions, particularly methane, or familiarity with the latest advances in methane measurement technologies
- or knowledge of life cycle assessment modeling
- with voluntary emission reporting frameworks, such as OGMP 2.0
- with coding programs such as Python or MATLAB
- with reporting and documentation programs such as LaTeX or similar
- Basic understanding or knowledge of:
- emission profiles of major equipment groups or processes in the oil and gas sector
- key federal and state GHG emission regulatory programs applicable to the oil and gas industry
- data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
