Job Overview
We are looking for a dynamic, high-performing Account Rep with experience selling technology and/or other services over the phone, by email, and via web-based presentations. As an Account Executive, you will manage a client book and proactively reach out to ensure client satisfaction/retention while continuously hunting and closing new business. The ideal candidate has a history of bringing on new business, has experience in product sales and hitting sales quotas, and loves the challenges that come with outbound prospecting in a competitive market.
Responsibilities for Account Executive
- Create detailed business plans to facilitate the attainment of goals and quotas.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal
- Making cold calls or reaching out to prospects.
- Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long-term partnerships.
- The drive and energy to manage multiple accounts while looking for new opportunities.
- Staying current on company offerings and industry trends.
- Presenting and demonstrating the value of products and services to prospective clients
- Provide professional after-sales support to enhance the customers’ dedication.
- Remain in frequent contact with the clients in your responsibility to understand their needs.
- Respond to complaints and resolve issues aiming at customer contentment and preserving the company’s reputation.
- Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data
Qualifications for Account Executive
- Proven experience as an Account Executive or in other sales/customer service role
- Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of HXM software (e.g. SAP) is a plus
- Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Strong Business Acumen, including demonstrated knowledge of business processes and/or industries.
- Enthusiastic and passionate
- BSc or BA in business administration, sales, or marketing
