## Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, hard working Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in painting, plumbing, carpentry, electric and / or experience with appliance repair. Looking for detail-oriented workers who are able to work effectively on teams of 2-4 with limited supervision and will eventually be able to lead their own team.
## Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks on facilities and equipment to ensure optimal functionality
- Complete unit turns including carpet, tile, painting, fixing cabinets and light plumbing
- Ability to work with a variety of flooring; such as, carpet, tile, laminate to repair, replace and maintain
- Inspect and maintain HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures, and lighting systems
- Knowledge of basic plumbing including water heaters
## Skills
- Previous maintenance experience is highly encouraged
- Strong mechanical knowledge to handle various equipment repairs and maintenance
-Attention to detail, positive attitude, self-motivated
- Customer service oriented with the ability to explain maintenance work to tenants and answer their questions
- Bilingual - English/Spanish recommended
