Primary Objective & Scope of Position :
This role is responsible for developing platform-specific strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and business objectives. The Social Media Manager will oversee content creation, influencer and paid partnership collaborations, and community management while ensuring alignment with marketing goals. This role requires a strong understanding of digital trends, content production, and social media analytics.
Essential Functions and Accountabilities :
- Develop and execute a comprehensive organic social media content strategy, ensuring each platform (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, X, TikTok, and other) is leveraged effectively to meet business goals.
- Lead the social media team in content development including user-generated content (UGC), paid partnerships, influencer collaborations, and content creation sessions (photography & video).
- Conceptualize and execute content creation sessions, ensuring high-quality visual storytelling.
- Manage and support paid partnerships, maintaining relationships with influencers and content creators while ensuring alignment with brand messaging.
- Assist in managing paid social media efforts.
- Monitor and optimize content performance, using analytics to refine strategies and maximize engagement across social platforms.
- Create engaging, on-brand organic social media copy to maintain consistency across platforms.
- Oversee the management of Slumberland store social media accounts, providing guidance and support to local teams.
- Manage organic social media tools, including Hootsuite, and streamline content processes for efficiency.
- Develop and maintain social media processes, tools, and structures to streamline workflow and improve efficiency.
- Oversee program budgets, managing invoices, expenses, and ensuring financial accountability.
