Job Description: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented HR Payroll and Compliance Officer to join our dynamic HR team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in payroll systems, and an understanding of labor laws. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Payroll Management: Process payroll accurately and timely using Netsuite. Ensure all payroll transactions are processed in compliance with federal and state laws. • Timekeeping and PTO Tracking: Monitor and track employee work hours, paid time off (PTO), sick leave, and other absences. Maintain accurate records of attendance and leave balances. • Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits programs including 401(k), health insurance, and other benefits offered by the company. Assist employees with benefits enrollment and inquiries. • Onboarding and Offboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including conducting orientations and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed. Manage the offboarding process and conduct exit interviews as needed. • Employee File Management: Maintain and update employee records and files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Manage electronic and physical employee files in compliance with retention policies. • HR Compliance and Policy Adherence: Stay updated on HR laws, regulations, and best practices. Ensure company compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Update and maintain the employee handbook and other HR policies. • Compliance Signage and Notifications: Post required employment notices and signage in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. • Disability Claims Management: Assist employees with disability claims and accommodations, ensuring compliance with ADA guidelines. • Disciplinary Actions: Assist management in handling disciplinary actions and investigations. Ensure consistency and fairness in disciplinary processes. • New Laws and Regulations: Stay informed about changes in employment laws and regulations. Update internal policies and procedures as necessary to ensure compliance. Qualifications: • Experience in HR compliance, payroll administration, or a similar role. • Proficiency in payroll Netsuite and MS Office Suite. • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
