As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a crucial role in attracting and hiring top talent. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers and department heads to understand their staffing needs and develop and execute effective recruitment strategies.

This is a full-time, in-office position working from our Spring Valley HQ. The hours are Monday-Thursday 9am-6pm, Friday 9am-1pm. Reports to the Director of Human Resources.

Responsibilities :

Short story : You will be the one taking charge and owning responsibility for anything and everything related to recruiting. No two days will be the same, and you get to recruit for the company as if you owned it, always trying new strategies to help us build an awesome team!

  • Full-cycle Recruitment : You will do it all! Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from sourcing and screening candidates to conducting interviews and negotiating offers.
  • Talent Sourcing : Your job is to make connections : all day every day! Utilize multiple sourcing methods (e.g., networking, referrals, online job boards, social media, career fairs / in person networking events, third-party recruiting firms) to identify and attract qualified candidates.
  • Candidate Engagement : Make people love us! Build strong relationships with candidates to ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Collaboration : We work as a team! Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing requirements and develop tailored recruitment strategies for every open position.
  • Employer Branding : We’re awesome; make sure that amazing candidates know! Promote Culinary Depot as an employer of choice by effectively communicating our culture, values, and career opportunities.
  • Data Analysis : The devil is in the details! Utilize recruitment metrics and analytics to track and report on key hiring metrics, providing insights to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications :

  • 2-10 years of proven experience in Talent Acquisition / Recruiting or a similar role.
  • A relentless attitude of wanting to discover and uncover new ways to fill positions. Always curious, you don’t just post the job and pray for an applicant. You do whatever it takes to source, track and close amazing candidates.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, that enable you to build relationships with candidates. People should love talking to you!
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. You understand that even if you uncover great people, if you can’t keep track of them, all is lost!
  • Keep all the balls in the air at one time : You have the ability to manage multiple priorities and work in an ever-changing and fast paced company.
  • Knowledge of industry tools and metrics for success : In your first 90 days , you will help us select an applicant tracking system (ATS) and will collaborate with HR Director to define the metrics of recruiting success that will enable us to make our recruiting department top-notch. You are excited to lead our recruiting efforts.
