Do you love the outdoors and have a great eye for detail? Are you someone with a great work ethic? We are searching for a Lawn Fertilizer Technician to join the team of a local company who maintains and creates beautiful outdoor spaces. They provide comprehensive landscape services to businesses and residences, including lawn and tree maintenance. Starting pay is $20 / hr . After probation period, pay increases to $25 / hr. Hours are Monday-Friday 7 : 30 am-5 pm , with an occasional Saturday, and paid lunches! Full-time hours are not guaranteed during the winter. Health insurance and year-end bonuses are offered!
Lawn Fertilizer Technician Duties and Responsibilities
- Apply fertilizer, pesticides, and herbicides to residential and commercial lawns and landscapes using standard industry application equipment
- Calculate proper application rate and mixes chemicals accordingly
- Administers correct handling, transporting, storage, and disposal procedures for chemicals
- Assist the arborist side of the company during slower times
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions, maintaining energy and pace along with the team
- Drive company vehicle to various client locations and ensure proper storage of equipment during transport
