Job Description:
As the Ice Cream Production Chef , you'll play a vital role in the creation of our signature ice cream. You'll be responsible for following recipes, operating production equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail, a passion for quality, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
· Prepare ice cream mixes according to established recipes and procedures.
· Operate and maintain ice cream production equipment, including batch freezers, pasteurizers, and other related machinery.
· Monitor and adjust production processes to ensure consistent quality and flavor.
· Add ingredients, such as flavorings, fruits, and inclusions, in precise measurements.
· Package and store finished ice cream products according to established guidelines.
· Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, adhering to all food safety regulations.
· Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
· Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
· Assist with other tasks as needed, such as cleaning and organizing the production area.
· Maintain accurate production records.
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in food production or a related field is a plus but not required. We will train the right candidate.
· Have a passion for ice cream and a keen interest in the production process.
· Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
· Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
· Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
· Ability to stand for extended periods.
· Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus.
· Must have reliable transportation.
· Must have a positive attitude.
