Ideal candidates have DoD acquisition qualifications, test and / or engineering background with related post-graduate credentials, and possess dynamic problem-solving, collaboration and strong interpersonal skills. They must understand the AFGSC enterprise and missions, as well as the foundational principles of Defense acquisition program management to include Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs, along with the broader Adaptive Acquisition Framework for DoD. The Site Technical Director-LCIT will be responsible for engagement functions and processes through collaboration with internal and external senior leaders, policymakers, researchers, technology developers and stakeholders. The Technical Director-LCIT will provide advisory and assistance services in support of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) cycle,
