What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Veterinary Technician position at Small Door Veterinary?

What you'll do
- Triaging
- Knowledge and ability to recognize medical emergencies and illnesses
- Assessing patients
- Recording vitals and assisting doctors with diagnostics
- Completing treatments as instructed by the doctor
- Basic husbandry and nursing care
- Monitoring changes in patients and providing compassionate care
- Taking blood
- Placing catheters
- Assisting in and facilitating radiography capture
- Preparing samples for outside reference labs
- Running in-house labs
- Preparing medications
- Administering medications
- Additional responsibilities to maintain a hospitable environment
Who you are
Week 1 (4 x 10 hour shifts)
Week 2 (3 x 10 hour shifts (1) 8 hour Sat Shift)
