What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance position at Small Parts?
This position maintains industrial facilities in clean and orderly condition, performs general maintenance on building and equipment, and other duties as assigned.
AN OVERVIEW OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Assists maintenance on repair work.
- Trains with maintenance personnel on all types of repair and improvement tasks to possibly advance to Maintenance B when all skills are proven to be sufficient, and a vacancy exists.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
- Performs general preventative maintenance on machinery and the building or grounds.
- Detects faulty operations, defective material, or questionable conditions and reports these and any unusual situations to proper supervision. Provides input to help solve and correct these conditions.
- Helps with the wastewater system.
- Enters data in operating systems
