What are the responsibilities and job description for the Local cdl driver position at Small Potato Trucking?
JOB OPPORTUNITY! WE ARE HIRING!
We are seeking committed, ambitious and responsible drivers who would enjoy a job where they can have daily home time PLUS OFF work from Saturday afternoon through Monday morning!! Selected drivers will be delivering to stores after hours;
they will be given all the necessary information and tools to carroy on their duties and should be able to manouver a tractor trailer in tight corridors.
- Route includes GA, AL, FL
- Schedule : Monday to Friday starting around 22 : 30 24 : 30
- Home daily and off work from Saturday afternoon to Monday morning
- Governed trucks at 65 pedal and cruise
- 2 stops per day 5 days a week
- 2,800 weekly miles
- MAINLY NIGHT DRIVING
- NO passengers
- NO pets
- $0.40 - $0.46 cpm depending on time worked on account
Candidates must live in the city of Valdosta, GA or within 50 miles around it. Drivers who do not live inside this specified location will not be considered, but we are constantly hiring so there are other locations we could offer them.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be able to successfully tight back manourvering
- 6 months of driving experience
- Must be able and willing to drive nights
- 6 month recent experience driving
- No more than 2 jobs in the past 12 months;
- DOT Medical card;
- Valid Class A driver's license;
- Must be 21 years or older.
