Job Description:
Role Overview
The Food Manufacturing Team Member is an integral part of the production line, responsible for assisting in the preparation, assembly, and packaging of food products. This role requires adherence to quality, safety, and efficiency standards to ensure the consistent production of high-quality products. The Team Member plays a key role in maintaining smooth operations by following instructions, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to the team’s overall success.
Key Responsibilities
Production Support:
- Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation.
- Perform tasks such as mixing, assembling, or packaging food products as directed by supervisors.
- Follow standardized operating procedures (SOPs) to meet production goals and maintain consistency.
Quality Assurance:
- Conduct visual inspections of products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Identify and report any product defects or deviations to supervisors immediately.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities as required.
Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to all company safety policies and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow proper hygiene practices in the production area.
- Report any safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or incidents promptly to supervisors.
Efficiency and Teamwork:
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production schedules and deadlines.
- Assist in minimizing downtime by maintaining readiness and proactively addressing issues.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to streamline processes.
Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area in compliance with food safety standards.
- Participate in routine equipment cleaning and sanitization to ensure hygiene and product safety.
- Assist with general housekeeping tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in a food manufacturing or production environment is a plus.
- Ability to follow instructions, work efficiently, and meet production goals.
- Basic understanding of food safety and quality standards (e.g., GMPs) preferred.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift materials, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position; shift-based schedule, including evenings or weekends as needed.
- Mobile clock-in/clock-out system to be maintained accurately at all times.
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, including exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and food production equipment.
- Requires the ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 40lbs.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
