Overview

Duties
- Develop and implement curriculum plans that align with educational standards and meet the needs of all students.
- Utilize various teaching methods to engage students in learning, including hands-on activities, group work, and technology integration.
- Assess student performance through standardized testing and regular evaluations, providing feedback to students and parents on progress.
- Maintain effective classroom management strategies to create a respectful and productive learning environment.
- Provide early intervention strategies for students who may need additional support in areas such as math or physical education.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and collaboration.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field; teaching certification preferred.
- Experience in curriculum development, classroom management, and early childhood education is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of math concepts and ability to teach these effectively to young learners.
- Familiarity with standardized testing practices and assessment methods.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to connect with students of varying backgrounds.
- Experience in childcare or physical education is a plus.
- Ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of all students.
