Responsibilities
- Bake a variety of items, including cupcakes, cakes, cookies, and pies, with a focus on custom and specialty cakes.
- Decorate cakes and cupcakes with creativity and precision.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming and warm experience for all customers.
- Operate the register, process orders, and handle high-pressure tasks with ease during busy periods.
- Maintain a clean, cozy, and inviting front-of-house atmosphere where customers feel at home.
- Post daily specials and bakery updates on social media, promoting our products and events.
- Attend and represent the bakery at local festivals and events.
- Manage baking-related tasks, including inventory and quality control, while assisting with day-to-day operations.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a bakery or similar environment, particularly in baking and cake decorating.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity, with a people-centered approach.
- Friendly and customer-focused with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Basic management or leadership experience, or a desire to develop these skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage both baking and front-of-house responsibilities.
- Familiarity with social media platforms for business is a plus.
- Availability to work 15-25 hours per week, Tuesday through Sunday, with flexibility to attend local events and festivals.

Pay: $9.50 - $12.00 per hour
