Smallcakes isn’t just a cupcake shop—we’re a sweet escape! We’re on a mission to make our bakery a fun, welcoming “third space” where people can relax, enjoy delicious treats, and engage with our brand in creative ways. To help us share our story, we’re looking for a Social Media Content Creator to film, edit, and post short-form videos across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
What You’ll Do:
- Film engaging and creative behind-the-scenes content, trending challenges, and promotional videos in-store.
- Creating and uploading 3 videos everyday.
- Be able to work Mondays and potentially as needed throughout the week.
- Edit short-form videos using trending sounds, effects, and text overlays.
- Post and schedule videos consistently across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.
- Stay on top of social media trends to keep content fresh and engaging.
- Engage with the community by responding to comments and encouraging interaction.
- Collaborate with our team to develop fun and creative video ideas that showcase our cupcakes, customer experiences, and events.
What We’re Looking For:
- Passion for social media and content creation.
- Experience creating TikToks, Reels, or Shorts (personal or professional).
- Familiarity with video editing apps.
- Creative, outgoing, and comfortable being on camera.
- Ability to work independently and bring new ideas to the table.
- Bonus: Experience in marketing, social media, or photography.
