Responsibilities
- Visually inspects, measures, and approves incoming products in comparison to blueprints/part/customer specifications
- Operates necessary inspection tools/equipment related to the assigned product
- Operates material handling equipment/forklifts and transports materials
- Works as an Inspector as needed
- Performs calibration of inspection instruments
- Documents and notifies the appropriate personnel in the QC dept. of all products that fail to meet appropriate specifications/rejected products
- Participates in cross departmental work production based on business needs
- Learns and upholds defined quality standards to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and optimize work efficiency
- Provides complete, accurate documentation when required
Qualifications
- Experience working in a manufacturing or related environment
- Proven experience working as a Quality Control Inspector preferred
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
- Measuring parts with precision instruments including: micrometers, calipers, gauges, optical comparators, etc.
- Performing/checking calibration of inspection instruments
- Operating material handling equipment including: pallet jacks and forklift
- Pass required Inspection Test

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $17.00-$23.00 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
