- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in health status to the appropriate personnel.
- Advocate for resident rights and ensure that clients are treated with respect and dignity.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and incidents as required.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
Qualifications
- Experience in direct support or home care is preferred, especially working with individuals on the autism spectrum or those requiring memory care.
- Knowledge of resident rights and advocacy practices is essential.
- Ability to cook nutritious meals that cater to individual dietary needs.
