We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Oral Surgeon to join our medical team. Responsibilities
- Perform surgical procedures with precision and care, adhering to established protocols and best practices.
- Conduct pre-operative assessments and consultations to determine the appropriate surgical approach for each patient.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, nurses, and other medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes during surgeries.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, including patient histories, surgical notes, and post-operative care plans.
- Stay current with advancements in surgical techniques and technologies to enhance patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures, risks, recovery processes, and post-operative care.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Participate in continuing education opportunities to further develop skills in areas such as endodontics, dental fabrication, and medical imaging.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in a relevant surgical specialty is preferred.
- Proven experience in performing surgeries within a clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of four-handed dentistry techniques is a plus.
- Familiarity with dental office operations and Dentrix software is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
