Assistant Dental

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Prepares patients and operatories for dental work
• Sterilizes instruments
• Provides excellent patient care
• Charts patient’s existing and needed treatment
• Treatment planning
• X-ray use and accuracy
• Provides post op instruction
• Educates Patient’s on procedures and oral health
• Fabricates temporary crowns
• Designs and mills crowns
• Take impressions, pour up models, and trim them
• Schedule patients for Dr Treatment and Hygiene care
• Calls in referrals for patients
• Writes and keeps track of lab slips

Qualifications

• Proficient in chairside assisting and knowledgeable in dental terminology and anatomy
• Experience with 3D scanners and general dentistry practices
• Familiarity with aseptic techniques and various dental specialties, including prosthodontics and endodontics
• Skilled in using EMR systems, including Dentrix and Eaglesoft, and understanding HIPAA regulations
• Ability to perform X-rays and manage pediatric dentistry tasks
• Competence in vital signs monitoring and medical imaging techniques

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
