Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Claim Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing dental insurance claims, ensuring accurate submission, and facilitating communication between dental staff, and insurance providers.
Reports to: Insurance Audit Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit dental insurance claims to various payers accurately and in a timely manner.
- Communicate with insurance companies to follow up on outstanding claims and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain detailed records of claims submissions, payments, and follow-ups.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure all necessary documentation is gathered for claims processing.
- Stay updated on changes in insurance policies and dental coding practices.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration or billing preferred.
- Previous experience in dental claims processing or a similar role is required.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient in using dental practice management software and MS Office applications.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
