What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Assistant position at Smalltown Dental?
We are looking for friendly and positive individuals to join our offices in the role of a Dental Assistant! To make a difference to the patient experience in our practice and become a part of our team comprised of dedicated Dental professionals.
Our practice looks for those who are self-motivated, quick learners, and have charismatic personalities!
We have full-time positions available.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Prepares patients and operatories for dental work
- Sterilizes instruments
- Provides excellent patient care
- Charts patient’s existing and needed treatment
- Treatment planning
- X-ray use and accuracy
- Provides post op instruction
- Educates Patient’s on procedures and oral health
- Fabricates temporary crowns
- Designs and mills crowns
- Take impressions, pour up models, and trim them
- Schedule patients for Dr Treatment and Hygiene care
- Calls in referrals for patients
- Writes and keeps track of lab slips
