What are the responsibilities and job description for the Apartment Renovations Onsite Project Supervisor position at Smart Build LLC?
We are seeking a Project Supervisor to oversee our expanding apartment renovations program in Portsmouth VA. We are looking for a team member with apartment renovation experience who can work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines and is looking to grow with the company. You will be overseeing 3 apartment renovations simultaneously. A great eye for quality and detail is a must!
Responsibilities Include:
· Oversee subcontractors on multiple job sites including quality control, inspections, and scheduling.
· Assist with material ordering, receiving, inventory, and schedule management.
· Coordinate inspection process with building departments.
· Monitor and provide reporting to management
· Work with property management personnel, prepare and share project goals, and details to senior management and owners
· Track the due diligence process, scheduling, & change orders
· Promote and maintain a safe work environment
· Other duties as assigned by the manager
· Perform punch list when necessary
· Clean out and mop units when needed
Requirements:
· 3-5 years of construction management experience in multifamily construction/renovations
· Strong existing network of subcontractors
· Strong work ethic with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, meet deadlines and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
· Stellar record in the multi-family construction field
· Proven project coordination skills
· Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to confidently present to owners and clients
· Perform functions efficiently and accurately with little direct supervision
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Adobe
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
