Role: SAP IS-U Lead

Location: Pineville, NC (Onsite)

Position Overview

Client is seeking a seasoned SAP IS-U (Industry-Specific Utilities) Lead to spearhead the implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP IS-U solutions. The ideal candidate will possess profound expertise in SAP IS-U, coupled with robust leadership capabilities and a talent for collaborating across functional teams to deliver superior solutions within the utilities industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects involving SAP IS-U implementation, upgrades, and support while ensuring alignment with business objectives.

• Act as a subject matter expert in SAP IS-U modules, including Billing, Device Management, FICA, Customer Service, and Work Management.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define system requirements, processes, and establish best practices.

• Architect and configure SAP IS-U solutions, ensuring seamless integration with SAP and third-party applications.

• Oversee the entire project lifecycle, encompassing blueprinting, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve SAP IS-U system issues, optimizing for performance and stability.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants and offshore teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

• Partner with business users, IT teams, and external vendors to promote innovation and drive digital transformation initiatives.

• Stay abreast of SAP IS-U advancements, industry trends, and emerging technologies.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP IS-U implementation and support.

• Proven hands-on expertise in modules such as Billing, Device Management, FICA, or Customer Service.

• Solid understanding of SAP integration with third-party systems and SAP S/4HANA Utilities.

• Demonstrated success in leading full-cycle SAP IS-U implementations.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a capacity to address complex business requirements.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• SAP IS-U Certification is strongly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in SAP S/4HANA Utilities migration projects.

• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations within the utilities sector.
