Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Vice President at Smart Charge America, located in Austin, TX. Do not apply unless you are HUNGRY, HUMBLE & SMART. The Vice President will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, strategizing business initiatives, managing senior leadership team members, and driving business growth. Key tasks include developing and implementing company policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and fostering a positive work environment. The Vice President will also be responsible for building client relationships, identifying market opportunities, and collaborating with other departments to achieve company goals.

What Your Day Looks Like: Your day is filled with inside sales, outside sales, IT, customer service, Business Development and collaboration with the team. You'll go after leads, current & new property portfolios, existing professional relationships and get in front of the decision makers to explain the value of our services. You’ll answer emails and phone calls from commercial, residential and service customers and use your knowledge base to ensure that they get the right products and solutions for their needs. You’ll coordinate with our estimating team to provide the customer with an idea of what their costs will be. Our sales team will schedule onsite assessments, installations, coordinate dropships, and provide the best customer service around, all you have to do is manage it all. You’re going to be focused on being the main point of contact for our team members to come to for anything, beginning to end.
What You’ll Need to Succeed: The ideal Vice President handles EVerything inside/outside sales for the entire company. You'll need to have at a minimum two years or more of related sales experience (hardware/software, electrical, etc.) in the B2B/C sector. You’ll have a base knowledge of electrical systems, sales, business development and electric vehicles, even if you don’t drive one yourself. (We’ll give you our specific training, but a working knowledge will be helpful!) Multi-tasking and staying organized will be critical for your success. You’ll be proficient in Google Suite and Copper (or other) CRM, Zapier, Airtable, Woo-Commerce, Stripe & Wordpress as well as experience with Mac computers. Communicating effectively both verbally and in writing, strong interpersonal skills, and a problem-solving attitude will set you apart from other candidates.

Qualified Compensation: Ranges between $100,000 - $110,000 based on experience.
