About the Role:

As a Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and attracting top talent to successfully onboarding and integrating new hires into the company. Additionally, you will build and maintain a strong talent pipeline, ensuring that all hiring needs are met efficiently and effectively. You will collaborate with hiring managers, HR and senior leadership to develop sourcing, interview and integration strategies that align with business goals and promote organizational growth. This is a hands-on manager role in the Talent Acquisition team of one.

Full-time, hybrid position in our Newport Beach office


Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Sourcing:

  • Lead and manage the full recruitment lifecycle for open positions, from requisition to offer acceptance.
  • Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates through job boards, social media, networking and employee referrals.
  • Screen, interview, and assess candidates for skills, cultural fit, and overall alignment with company values and objectives.

Talent Pipeline Development:

  • Build and nurture relationships with passive candidates to develop a pipeline for hard-to-fill or high-priority roles.
  • Engage in employer branding initiatives to enhance the company’s reputation and attract top talent.
  • Organize and attend career fairs, networking events, and college recruitment activities to generate new talent.
  • Leverage data and industry trends to forecast future talent needs and adjust recruiting strategies accordingly. 

New Hire Onboarding & Integration:

  • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience that helps employees acclimate to their new roles.
  • Work with HR and hiring managers to create personalized onboarding plans, including introductions, training schedules, and orientation activities.
  • Monitor and support new hires’ progress through their initial integration period, ensuring they feel supported and engaged.
  • Collect feedback from new employees and managers to continuously improve the onboarding process and employee experience.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand their team and departmental needs and to ensure alignment between recruitment efforts and business objectives.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to managers on candidate selection, interview best practices, and effective hiring strategies.
  • Work with senior leadership to ensure recruitment strategies align with organizational goals and growth projections.

Systems, Reporting & Analytics:

  • Lead the selection, implementation, integration and continuous improvement of an Applicant Tracking System to streamline the recruitment process and enhance efficiency.
  • Analyze hiring trends and identify areas for improvement within the recruiting process.
  • Provide regular updates to HR leadership on recruitment progress and challenges.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment tools, technologies, and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.


Qualifications, Skills & Key Competencies:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP or PHR are a plus.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, or a related HR field with a proven track record of successfully filling positions and building talent pipelines.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of recruiting methods, tools, and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse groups of people.
  • Ability to assess candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting for talent acquisition metrics.

In Accordance With The Applicable Law, The Following Represents a Good Faith Estimate Of The Minimum And Maximum Compensation Range For This Position

The estimated annual compensation range for this role is $90k - $130k 


The compensation range reflects the Company’s reasonable expectation at the time of posting. Exact compensation for this role will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience.
