Mail Service Associate
Smart Data Solutions (SDS), a growing company in Eagan, MN, is looking for qualified individuals to work in our mail processing center. In this role, you will help SDS successfully process our client’s mail by retrieving, sorting, and Quality Control of documents.
What you’ll be doing?
- Retrieve mail from the post office in company issued vehicle
- Deliver FedEx and UPS mail to teams leads to be distributed
- Sort incoming mail by P.O. Box to be put away to their assigned P.O. Box location on shelves
- Perform destruction of documents by retention date as assigned from Team Lead in compliance with customer and HIPAA requirements
- Ensure pallets are in the proper storage location
- Ensure that each team’s processing supplies, including but not limited to document separators and copier paper, are fully stocked at all times
- Complete warehouse cleaning checklist daily, and maintain a clean work area
- Retrieve all empty USPS labeled mail containers from across the office building and place in the gaylord boxes
- Place scanned document boxes in secured, fenced in areas, including the upstairs mezzanine area
- Must have ability to lift 45 pounds
- Must have ability to walk up and down stairs while balancing boxes
- Perform other duties as assigned.
