Fire Alarm Technician

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems, including security systems, fire alarms, and telecommunications equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with low voltage systems
- Test and inspect low voltage systems to ensure they are functioning properly and in compliance with NEC regulations
- Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of low voltage systems and their components
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for installation and repair work
- Familiarity with NEC regulations and industry standards for low voltage systems
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues with low voltage systems
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and interact with clients

Note: Locksmithing experience is a plus, but not required for this position.

Must be Be able to Perform installation, maintenance and repairs of CCTV, Access Control, AV and Alarm systems.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, use tools and necessary equipment, climb ladders up to 24′, pull wire, etc.
Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, specifications, operation manuals, etc.
Have own basic hand tools.
Have a clean Drivers License, be neat in appearance, friendly and personable. Have Communication Skills.

Must be able to follow instructions, document jobs, be flexible

Must Show up on time!

Must have the ability to work alone or part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
