Role
The VP of Strategic Partnerships will be the leader or 1 or more key partner segments : Reseller, Global Systems Integrator, Big Tech or Smart Grid. Position reports to the COO.
Primary Responsibilities
- Guide partner strategy and foster business relationships with our strategic partners worldwide.
- Understand overall market and value drivers for our solutions and champion the go to market activities for SEWs energy and water customer engagement and mobile workforce solutions.
- Evaluate strategic alignment with prospective partners to generate mutual value while protecting SEW interests.
- Build good working relationships with partner prospects using in person meetings, email, events, Salesforce and LinkedIn.
- Develop joint offerings that increase value and business opportunities for both SEW and external entity.
- Implement partner processes and training based on the short-term and long-term vision for SEW products and strategy.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to identify and set up tracking for lead gen partners and hand over admin to sales operations.
- Manage partner strategy roadmap and identifies business development opportunities.
- Prepare monthly updates for executive staff on partners including highlights and lowlights leads evaluation and execution of joint commercial offerings.
- Define and negotiate commercial terms and contracts.
- Develop qualification criteria and processes for qualifying and managing partners and business opportunities.
- Collaborate with management teams Sales, Product and Marketing to leverage partnerships to support sales efforts.
- Direct development of partner collateral, online presence, training modules and product development.
- Opportunity to lead the strategy of a company with significant market presence and growth potential, especially as it approaches a pivotal IPO.
- Educate potential partners through webinars and in-person meetings.
- Hybrid work out of SEWs Irvine, CA headquarters.
- Expected travel up to 25% on average.
