Role : PostgreS Developer

Work Location & Reporting Address : Weehawken NJ Completely ONSITE

Duration-6-12 months

Job Details :

Experience & Knowledge :

Proven experience as a PostgreSQL Developer with hands-on expertise in PostgreSQL database management and development.
Strong knowledge of database design concepts, normalization, and optimization techniques.
Solid experience writing complex SQL queries, functions, stored procedures, and triggers.
Familiarity with PostgreSQL extensions such as PostGIS, pg_partman, etc., is a plus.

Technical Proficiency :

Proficiency in PostgreSQL query optimization and performance tuning.

Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL clustering, replication, and backup strategies.

Familiarity with monitoring tools such as pgAdmin, Prometheus, or similar tools.

Programming Languages :

Experience with programming languages like Python, Java, or C for database interactions.

Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Shell, etc.) for automation tasks.

Tools & Technologies :

Experience working with version control systems (Git).

Familiarity with containerization tools (e.g., Docker) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.

Soft Skills :

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
