To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a superior service culture within the store, driving sales growth, and optimizing operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include:
- Creating a store culture that focuses on both initiating and supporting outside sales calls, as well as creating a strong, superior service culture within the store;
- Managing the monthly Profit and Loss (P&L) statement and assisting in the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) budgeting process;
- Implementing and supervising strict controls regarding inventory standard operating procedures (SOPs), cash, checks, credit, and other critical aspects of the business;
- Ensuring that all staff complies with company policies, procedures, and store SOPs;
- Determining marketing strategy and devising marketing plans to improve sales;
- Working closely with the HR department to recruit, interview, select, hire, orient, train, develop, and retain staff members;
- Conducting employee evaluations, including follow-through on recommendations, training, and disciplinary actions;
- Supervising and providing day-to-day direction to store management and floor staff, including scheduling and outlining store goals and sales targets;
- Implementing training programs to increase employee knowledge base and productivity;
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience;
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience in a retail work environment, with at least three (3) years of management/supervisory experience;
- Strong planning and organizational skills;
- Ability to think critically and make good business decisions;
- Excellent leadership and communication skills;
- Adaptability and willingness to assist in accomplishing job tasks;
- Proficiency with computer applications and Microsoft programs;
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, late evenings, holidays, and weekends.
