Job Title: Retail Sales Associate
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a key member of our sales floor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and safe store environment, and working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Cashiering: Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately, handling cash, credit card payments, and mobile payments.
- Stocking and Replenishment: Maintain store shelves by receiving inventory shipments, stocking merchandise, and rotating products according to FIFO principles.
- Sales Floor Support: Assist customers in finding products, answer questions, and provide product information to enhance their shopping experience.
- Customer Service: Respond promptly to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the sales floor, front end, and restrooms clean and organized, adhering to safety policies and practices.
Requirements:
- Minimum Qualifications: 6-12 months of retail cashier and/or stocking experience, high school diploma or equivalent work experience required.
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Desire and ability to deliver exceptional customer service, adaptability and willingness to assist other employees, basic computer skills, cash handling experience, and proficiency in utilizing general office equipment.
Working Conditions:
This role requires standing for long periods, frequent walking, and occasional lifting up to 100 pounds. Must be able to work a flexible hourly schedule, including holidays and weekends.
Compensation:
The expected base rate for this role is between $13.00-$21.00 per hour. This role will also receive overtime compensation and benefits may include health insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, short-term and long-term disability, employee stock purchase plan, and life insurance.
