Child Care Teacher Assistant (1 year exp)

Smart from the Start Childcare in the Aston/Garnet Valley area is looking for energetic teachers and assistants to join our team. We are currently looking for a couple team members to work in our infant and toddler rooms. Employees will be asked to help with planned activities, daily care of children, and communicating with parents. Preferred candidates are professional, caring, and truly excited to spend time with infants and toddlers. This person should be committed to making each day and every opportunity a positive one.

Successful candidates must have:

1. Experience working with young children
2. Strong communication and collaboration skills
3. The ability to and interact with children, parents and staff
4. Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
5. A high level of creativity and an enthusiasm for teaching.
6. Bring a personal creative touch to the classroom
7. The ability to follow licensing requirements
8. The ability to follow school policies for early childhood development
9. Must pass all required background checks and meet all other job descriptions criteria
