About The Role
- Hardware: Laptops, Desktops, scanners.
- Software: Various software - training will be provided.
- 35%: Assist the Lead IT Specialist by serving as a technical expert with smart classrooms, academic labs, and multimedia technologies. Participate in special projects such as instructional technology integration, training videos, and video conferencing. Recommend and specify computer equipment and software acquisitions.
- 25%: Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral equipment. Diagnose problems and schedule maintenance or repairs with vendors. Maintain records of upgrades and repairs.
- 15%: Ensure timely implementation of upgrades to instructional technology hardware and software, maintaining compliance with IT Security Standards and University policies.
- 15%: Assist in maintaining hardware and software inventories for academic classrooms and other tech environments.
- 5%: Provide hands-on training to faculty and staff on various technological software and hardware.
- 5%: Perform other duties related to Technology Services as assigned by the Manager of IT Services or Chief Information Officer.

- 5 years of experience assisting as a technical expert in smart classrooms and multimedia technologies.
- 5 years of experience installing and repairing hardware, software, and peripheral equipment.
- 5 years of experience ensuring timely upgrades of instructional technology hardware and software.
- 5 years of experience in maintaining hardware and software inventories.
- 5 years of experience performing other duties related to Technology Services.
