What are the responsibilities and job description for the Application Architect position at Smart IMS?
looking for a Resource who can serve as an architect for an organization, providing suggestions, solutions and reviews of current and new systems being developed. Ideally this person will come from a hands-on, technical background, knowing how to do the work of the teams they are working with. This person will work closely with other architects throughout to serve as a review of systems that they are working with, to ensure that standards are being upheld across the organization.
Expertise and / or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory :
- Experience with the .NET framework, public cloud environments (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud), private data center environments, and Automation / Continuous Integration (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, etc.)
- Experience in SDLC including associated deployment methodologies, QA processes, and performance tuning efforts
- Previous Infrastructure / System Engineering experience in heterogeneous environments Expert level technical skill in one or more technology disciplines (.net core application design; DevOps, high availability solutions)
- Recent experience leading the technical design of distributed systems or other complex projects
- 10 years of relevant work experience delivering enterprise customer facing solutions
- 6 years of relevant work experience designing and building enterprise class distributed systems
- 6 years of relevant work experience in highly regulated industries
