Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Data Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects data from inception to completion. As a Construction Data Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects data is collected, compiled, processed and shared on time, and to the highest quality standards while adhering to project specifications.
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage all phases of construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and enforce safety protocols.
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting any potential risks or issues.
- Utilize data analysis skills to assess project performance and implement improvements as necessary.
- Manage documentation related to project plans, contracts, and change orders effectively.
- Foster a positive working environment by leading and mentoring team members.
Skills
- Strong data analysis skills for evaluating project metrics and outcomes.
- Proficient in data management practices to maintain accurate records of project information.
- Experience with Informatica or similar for data integration tasks related to construction projects is preferred.
- Knowledge of database design principles to support project documentation needs.
- Proven project management experience in the construction industry with a focus on Agile methodologies.
- Ability to vaticinate potential challenges and devise proactive solutions during the construction process.
- Familiarity with Tableau/PowerBI for visualizing project data and performance metrics is advantageous.
- Understanding of big data concepts as they relate to construction analytics.
- Experience with ETL processes for managing data flow between various systems is a plus.
