Anesthesia Tech (Certified)

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Overtime: Available after 40 hours
Pay Rate: $45/HR
OT Rate: $55/HR
Weekly Gross: $1620 based on 36 hours
Location:
Must be within a 75-mile straight-line radius (not driving distance) of the facility. No local travelers.
Requirements:
Active NM or compact license.
2 years of current experience in a large OR.
Anesthesia Tech experience required.
Experience in Recovery Room, ICU, Emergency Room, Operation Room, Pharmacy, or Bio-Med setting.
Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment.
BLS and ACLS certifications required (must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross).
ASATT (American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians) certification required.
EPIC EMR experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
Provide supplies and equipment to each anesthetizing location in proper working order.
Shift Information:
Varied shifts from 0600-1430 (8-hour shifts).
Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.
Weekends, on-call, and holidays may be required.
Travelers are the first to float within the facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of the permanent assigned location.
Traveling pairs are not guaranteed the same schedules or shifts.
Orientation:
The first week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, includes EPIC training (Epic test out available if used Epic in the last six months).
Salary : $45 - $1,620
