Business Intelligence Architect

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Principal Architect with a strong background in ETL, SSIS, and DevOps tools (GitHub CI/CD). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data integration solutions while ensuring seamless automation and deployment through DevOps best practices. This role requires expertise in data architecture, system design, and hands-on implementation to drive scalable and efficient data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

ETL & Data Architecture:

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources.
• Optimize ETL pipelines for efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
• Ensure data integrity and security in data processing workflows.
• Work with large datasets, structured/unstructured data, and modern data warehousing technologies.

SSIS Development & Optimization:

• Develop and manage SSIS packages for ETL workflows.
• Troubleshoot and enhance SSIS-based data integration processes.
• Optimize SSIS performance by implementing best practices.
• Ensure compliance with business rules, data governance, and regulatory requirements.

DevOps & CI/CD Implementation:

• Implement and manage GitHub CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps best practices into the SDLC.
• Monitor and enhance CI/CD processes for continuous improvement.
• Work with containerization and cloud-based deployment strategies where applicable.

Technical Leadership & Collaboration:

• Act as a thought leader in data architecture and ETL best practices.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to development and data engineering teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical roadmaps and strategies.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance data architecture and DevOps capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

• 10 years of experience in data architecture, ETL development, and DevOps practices.
• Strong expertise in ETL tools and frameworks, including SSIS, Informatica, or Talend.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft SSIS, including performance tuning and best practices.
• Proficiency in GitHub CI/CD, automation tools, and DevOps methodologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, NoSQL databases, and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is an added advantage.
