Position Overview :
Marysville Post Acute is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our exceptional team. As a Physical Therapist (PT), you will play an essential role in supporting patients through their recovery journey, enhancing mobility, and improving their quality of life. This position offers both contract and permanent full-time opportunities.
Permanent Full-Time Salary Range : $145,000 - $175,000 annually
Key Responsibilities :
Patient Assessment & Evaluation : Perform thorough assessments to evaluate patient mobility, strength, flexibility, and function. Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs and goals.
Therapeutic Interventions : Provide manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, balance and gait training, and pain management techniques. Utilize modalities like heat, cold, and electrical stimulation as appropriate.
Progress Monitoring : Set measurable goals and continuously evaluate patient progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
Patient & Family Education : Teach patients and their families about home exercise programs, mobility strategies, and pain management techniques to enhance recovery and independence.
Collaborative Care : Coordinate with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare providers to ensure holistic and patient-centered care.
Documentation & Compliance : Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to regulatory and facility standards.
Team Support : Mentor Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and foster a positive team environment that prioritizes patient outcomes.
Safety & Equipment Maintenance : Ensure therapy equipment is in good condition and maintain a clean, organized therapy area.
Qualifications :
Education : Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Licensure : Active Physical Therapist license in the state of California.
Certifications : CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
Experience : Experience in post-acute, rehabilitation, or long-term care is a plus. New graduates are welcome to apply.
Skills : Strong clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills. Ability to design and implement effective therapy plans.
