We are in need of a technical analyst to support our team.

Below is a job description and skills requested:

The data/systems analyst will partner with the business to support their needs for transparency operations support and delivery of various transparency reporting solutions. This role will require working with considerable data from multiple sources, analyzing problems, managing tasks, and driving cross-functional stakeholders to meet obligations correctly and on time.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Work closely with business and IT management to establish project goals, objectives and deliverables for Transparency system projects
• Collaborate closely with various business and IT teams to collect and develop business requirements
• Assist project manager on project deliverables
• Design, develop, deploy data flow processes for both inbound and outbound data files
• Optimize data flow processes for performance, scalability, and reliability
• Document the design and support strategy of data flows
• Lead, troubleshoot and resolve data engineering issues as they arise
• Partner with internal IT groups and software vendor to design and deliver new application functionality and system maintenance/bug fix releases
• Work closely with business sponsors to define technology needs in response to business problems, explore technical options and present solution alternatives
• Coordinate system support with other IT support organizations (i.e., infrastructure, other applications), and with external solution partners to ensure project and operations needs are addressed
• Perform data analysis, system and end-user support; and lead, coordinate and perform testing, verification, and validation of requirements
• Provide analytical support for compliance reporting
• Provide timely communication with stakeholders to address issues effectively

Skills Needed:

• Excellent organizational, communication and analytical abilities
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to recognize and comprehend complex data issues affecting the business environment
• Experience working in agile environment, familiar with JIRA
• Expert knowledge on SQL and Python programming
• 6 plus years experience in data warehousing, data engineering development or data architecture
• 6 plus years experience using ETL application such as Informatica, Precisely Data360, Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Oracle / SQL Server experience is a must, Azure, Snowflake, Databrick experience is a plus
• Knowledge of data analytics tool such as Qlik, Tableau, PowerBI is a plus
