Job Description :
We are looking for a skilled Java SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) to join our team. As a Java SDET, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests using Selenium for web applications. You'll work closely with developers and product teams to ensure the quality and performance of our software products.
Key Responsibilities :
Design and develop automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and create testing strategies.
Create and maintain automated test suites to ensure the functionality, performance, and security of web applications.
Troubleshoot and debug test failures, providing detailed reports and feedback to development teams.
Continuously improve and optimize automated testing processes.
Participate in code reviews to ensure the quality and maintainability of test scripts.
Work in an Agile environment and contribute to the continuous integration and delivery pipeline.
Required Skills :
Proficient in Java programming language.
Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for test automation.
Strong understanding of software testing principles and test case design.
Experience with JUnit or TestNG frameworks.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Knowledge of CI / CD tools like Jenkins is a plus.
Experience with REST APIs and basic testing for APIs (e.g., using Postman or RestAssured) is a bonus.
